THE CURE.

JUST A MINUTE IN: APRIL.
I'm currently--
WATCHING: Yes, I'm extremely late to the party, but we've just started watching season one of 'Mad Men'. The sexism/amount of smoking totally caught me off guard at first... but I LOVE it! We are also about halfway through the first season of 'Revenge' (does anyone else love that show?), but it's currently on a little hiatus due to 'Mad Men' viewing.
LISTENING: James Morrison / Mumford & Sons / Matt Corby / Florence & The Machine
BUYING: This cute coat in mustard-yellow (cos I realised I actually don't own a winter coat). And it was reduced by $50 buckeroos-- hooray!
NEEDING: to get my car cleaned-- she is one dirty little lady.
LOVING: Found organic juice; vintage & vintage-inspired dresses and styling; soothing hot showers; this 'not so autumn' weather we're having; laughing everyday with lovely co-workers.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: a weekend away (in a couple of weeks time) to a little country retreat for my birthday. Ever since this weekend away, I have been longing to stay out in the country again. Also, I cannot believe it's my birthday in 2 weeks time!!
(I'm playing along with this meme-- play along if you like!).
PS. Happy Wednesday! It's ANZAC Day here today, so we have a public holiday. Patrick still had to work though, so we didn't get to a service/parade, but here's what we got up to last year x

HI THERE: KW.
Lately, my love affair for vintage (and vintage-style) dresses has been rekindled in a major way. MAJOR. So if I was the kind of girl that had moolah to spend on designer clothing, pretty sure I would purchase every piece of the Hi There collection by Karen Walker. Oh. Gosh.
(Happy Tuesday! x).

BUNNIES, THOUGHTS + FRIDAYS.
Just a few snaps from our Easter Sunday last weekend with friends. We never really made that big a deal out of Easter when I was younger so it was fun to spend the day with our friends and their kiddos and get into the whole Easter egg hunt thing. I so love those kids :)
One of my girlfriends and I got to talking about how when certain things happen in life (like having kids or a change in your finances or circumstances etc) it might slow your life down, and it might mean you don't get to do so many "big", exciting things. Do you know what I mean? You can't be as selfish as before or you might be in a situation that you wouldn't have chosen for yourself. But the thing we were talking about is how you really do have to just make the most of every single day, even if it's just normal, day-to-day life. You have to make it exciting and joyful, and you have to create memories to keep, so that you don't look back and regret wasting your life. Whether your life situation is exactly how you want it to be, or not-- you have to make the most of it. (You're a smart lady Jem x).
Happy Friday! I'm so glad it's nearly the weekend-- it's been a crazy busy week and I'm so excited for the weekend x (Hope your week has been lovely).

ANY LOVELY MINUTE.
Some beautiful things:
a warm, pink sunset illuminating a window in a dark room; bunches of soft, fluffy, white clouds; the glow of the sun setting and the traffic lights on the drive home after a long day; sun rays reaching through the trees; the beautiful shades of autumn leaves hanging over a train track; a plane roaring overhead in the clearest sky; the intimidating but amazing face of a storm; sunshine that is completely enveloping.
Happy easter-- hope that you have the loveliest long weekend (getaway plans or not!) x
